QNLM Promtes Comprehensive Strategic Cooperation with Nature Research

QNLM-Nature cooperation has developed gradually since 2016, culminated by the MOU for comprehensive strategic cooperation signed on Sept. 21ˢᵗ, 2018.

On Aug. 29ᵗʰ, 2019, a Nature delegation led by Dr. Paul Evans, Director for Nature Research, Greater China visited QNLM to promote comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two sides.

Academician Lixin WU, QNLM director met with the delegation. He pointed out that: given the encouraging cooperation progress, a systemized cooperation package shall be figured out; the two sides shall cooperate in pushing forward Transparent Ocean and other major international projects and in marine science popularization.  Dr. Paul Evans responded that: Nature highly values cooperation with QNLM, that they are ready to offer full support.

Then, the delegation and the Department of International Affairs, QNLM discussed concrete arrangements, mapping out the work plan next year. The plan includes: QNLM brand and research results promotion, talent recruitment, paper writing training, monograph and proceeding publishing. A delegate from the Department of Public Relations attended the meeting and initiated cooperation with Nature on marine science popularization.
